On this page, I will share dogs from other people or rescues that are looking for homes for special dogs, often needing extra care.
ICE

Ice, is 2 years old and weighs 15 kilo. He was found on the street in Bulgaria, in January, — beaten and with a broken spine. He received treatment, but unfortunately, he has remained permanently disabled. Despite everything, Ice is extremely social, loves people, and shows no signs of trauma, fear, or aggression. He is friendly, trusting, and full of life. We don’t know how he is with cats. He gets along well with dogs in general, but he can be a bit jealous around male dogs.
For all these months, Ice has been living at a veterinary clinic, as no one in Bulgaria has come forward to adopt him. They are running out of time and options. As heartbreaking as it is to even write this, if they cannot find a home or a safe place for Ice very soon, euthanasia may become the only remaining option. None of us want this — Ice deserves so much more after all he has been through.
We can provide full transport wherever needed, and we will also supply him with a special wheelchair for his back legs.

MINI

–

Mini is a small 8kg rescue dog (~2 years old) from North Macedonia. She was found on the streets with a spinal injury that left her fully incontinent (both urinary and fecal) due to nerve damage. Her tail was amputated based on vet recommendations (she had no feeling in her tail). Despite this, she is a happy, all healthy, and active dog—she runs, jumps, plays, and loves cuddles and walks.
They are providing her with extensive therapy, supplements, and vitamins. While the vets are not optimistic, there is a small chance she could regain some control over time (months to a year). For now, they manage her condition with diapers, pads, special diet, and regular bladder and bowel expression.
They are looking for a loving forever home for her, preferably outside of North Macedonia, where she can receive better treatment, therapy options, and care. Currently, they live in a small one-bedroom apartment with two parrots and another dog, in a city where the streets are full of trash, poop, and even poison, making walks stressful. They want Mini to have a safe, happy life in a home that truly understands her needs. She is fully vaccinated, has a passport and a chip, has all the tests done (negative on all), she’s spayed, and is ready to travel to the EU/UK.
