About health, dreams, and courage

It’s already a while ago since I wrote my last blog. The last few months were quite busy with several dogs who had, and some still have, health problems. So lots of time went into taking care of them, and visiting the animal clinic and specialists.

Besides this, I myself have a serious setback because of Lyme disease. Some of you probably remember I have Lyme disease for many years already, but with treatment, I slowly felt better. Since a few weeks I am feeling worse, more pain and intense fatigue. A test showed there is a severe flare-up of the Borrelia bacteria again.
This was quite a big shock for me, I immediately thought about the many years I already received treatment and thought ‘not again this intense pain and fatigue, and this long road of healing and recovery…’
Fortunately, we found this on time, so the treatment will take less time. Still, my body reacts severely on this again, so at the moment I can’t pick a date yet for traveling. First, I need to feel a bit better.

When I wasn’t feeling well, Little Belle always was there for me. She still is ❤️

This doesn’t mean it won’t happen, I just need more time. In the meantime, we will continue with doing a lot online; keep searching for interesting properties for our new place, have contacts with real estate agents, investigate the different areas of our interests, do research about all the rules, regulations,… etc.

And, the most important, we’ll keep working on the fundraiser for Little Belle’s Dream!

During my research so far I realize more and more we really need a lot more funds to make our Dream possible.
But I really need help. So, if you know other ways how to help, maybe something you could organize yourself, just let me know!

We have raised beautiful amounts with the birthday and spy raffles, and we will continue with this. A beautiful new step is the new Facebook group page that will help raise money for Little Belle’s Dream. A big thank you to the members of Little Belle’s Team that will manage this page!

One big lesson Little Belle taught me was to never give up, and she tells me a lot to also never give up on my and our dream. She knows so well that with true and deep passion in heart and soul we are able to reach for the stars to make dreams come true ❤️

First Irene, I hope you feel better soon. Traveling will need to wait, but you are still researching and contacting realtor. That’s great progress! We will try to think of other ways to raise funds too. Feel better and thanks for the update.??

Oh Irene, I am so sorry to hear of such a set-back for you with the Lyme Disease. I will pray, as I know others will as well, that this bacteria can be brought under control and that your treatment goes well. Prayers for the pain as well. Keep Little Belle close to your heart as she was always with you through treatments and times of bed rest. Now you will have other little fur ones to keep close to you as you face what you must face. Love, Leslie & Lucy and Coalie in spirit <3

Irene , I wish you didn’t have this set-back , but I’m glad they discovered early so treatment will take less time . You do what you have to do , rest and take it easy as much as possible. You have real estate agents checking into properties for you , so let them do the leg work for now .
I’m a big believer in everything happens for a reason and like Little Belle never give up .❤️❤️❤️

I’m glad to be part of Little Belle’s Team and we will do our part to help Little Belle’s Dream be the reality too . Much hugs to you ❤️❤️❤️
